Busy Busy

I've been busy filling orders for my etsy. My Swedish Dala horses have been selling like hotcakes! I'm also trying to figure out which holiday fairs to sign up for.
Also, new earrings:

Some pictures from the summer

Hello!
It's suddenly very chilly out, and I have finally realized that summer is over.
I figure I might as well post some pictures from the craft fairs I participated in this past summer.

These are from the Manhasset Summer Festival. I teamed up with my friends Cailin Shea, who makes beautiful beaded jewelry, and Alex Waters, who makes luxurious soaps!

These next pics are from Harborfest in Port Washington:

I am constantly thinking of better ways to display my wares (don't you love Cailin's purple display?) and right now I am saving up to buy jewelry stands and custom printed fabric to make a Mad Fawn tablecloth!

new and old paintings

I made a self portrait the other day:

It doesn't really feel like me, but I kind of like the way it looks anyway. It bothers me that I don't own a shirt like that.

Reclining woman with Auto-Harp:

Last week, I cleaned out my filthy car and I found this painting in the trunk! I don't remember painting it, but it must have been when I went through my auto-harp phase.

Lately I have been working on inventory and thinking about a better display for when I do craft fairs. Also, I listed my Swedish Dala Horses on etsy!

I made some necklaces! They are swedish Dala horses, hand painted by yours truly. I am making them in all different colors, although most people seem to like the traditional red the best. (the one on the right in the picture, is actually neon pink) It is time consuming to paint them because they are pretty small,(1/2 inch tall) but I refuse to simplify any of the painted details.

More faces

I made some more faces! and I'm not going to stop!

These are three sisters and they are made from ceramic clay and painted with acrylic paint. I want to make a lot more of them because I think they'll look really good hanging together.

I'm also working on some cool new jewelry (no faces involved). I'm pretty excited about it, so I will post it soon!
